At our April meeting, Dr. Joyce Denman of the CR school board spoke with us regarding this election. Her challenger, Amy Spampinato, is well known in the district, and did run as a GOP for Kerri Evelyn Harris’ seat in 2024. You can find Dr. Denman’s response to the ACLU questionnaire at the link above. Ms. Spampinato refused to respond.

UD action in support of international students
Tues. May 13, 2PM
On Tuesday, join the sit-in and demonstration at the UD Board of Trustees meeting to ask the University to protect its international students. Participants will meet up at 2 PM on the South Green behind Memorial Hall, and then walk together to STAR tower where the meeting will take place. NO SIGNS, but please wear red as a sign of solidarity.

Food Bank
Thank you for your generous donations to the food bank at the last meeting! We will again be collecting at our monthly meeting this Sunday.
Due to a loss of federal funding, the Food Bank of Delaware needs more help to support our neighbors. To further support the Food Bank, please also consider volunteering, making a monetary donation, and/or starting your own fundraising drive to share on social media.
